Player & Parent/Guardian Code of Conduct

Parent/Guardian Code of Conduct

  • Trust and Support: Refrain from instructing players from the sidelines during practices or games, trusting the coaching philosophy and the players' decision-making capabilities.

  • Respectful Observation: Watch practices from the parking lot and/or bleachers and avoid being on the field during sessions to promote player autonomy and respect for the coaching process.

  • Positive Representation: Represent your child and the club positively by refraining from shouting instructions or criticism during games and tournaments, while also showing respect towards referees at all times.

  • Issue Resolution: Address any issues that arise with honesty and integrity, following the club's protocol for resolving conflicts and adopting a 48-hour rule for addressing concerns with the local director.

  • 48-hour rule: you should wait 48 hours before addressing it with your local director. This allows time for emotions to settle and for a more objective discussion.

Player Code of Conduct

  • Environment: Ensure that all trash is disposed of correctly, maintaining a safe, hygienic, and risk-free environment for learning.

  • Focus and Respect: Commit to being focused during training and match days, while also treating all individuals involved (parents, coaches, officials, and fans) with 100% respect, regardless of results or performance.

  • Behavior: Address officials and referees as “Sir” or “Ma’am”. Disrespect towards officials will not be tolerated. We do not tolerate any player answering back or contesting referees’ decisions.

  • Sportsmanship: Practice good sportsmanship in every aspect of performance, respecting everyone and treating others how you want to be treated, while being respectable whilst being competitive.

  • Family Involvement: Encourage parents/guardians to engage in your soccer journey by participating in various activities such as viewing games, studying the game, and interacting with coaches, athletes, and other families.

  • Time Management: Take responsibility for managing your daily schedule effectively, ensuring you have the privilege to attend club activities and sufficient time for personal practice and development.

  • Open Communication: Feel confident in approaching any club representative about life situations, emphasizing the importance of good decision-making skills both on and off the field.

  • Playing Positions: Playing positions are at the discretion of the coaches. They will assign positions based on what they believe will benefit both the individual player and the team as a whole.

  • Ownership and Fun: Take ownership of your actions on and off the field, understanding that sport is an opportunity for skill development and personal growth while also enjoying the experience.

Equipment/Uniform

I will prepare my own uniform and essentials needed for the club. “Failure to prepare, prepare to fail.” Players will prepare in the following ways to aid their performance positively:

  • Ensure jerseys are tucked into shorts at all times, socks are pulled up to knee height, and shin guards are worn inside socks. Shin guards worn at all practices. No shin guards, no training.

  • All players must wear black boots, kept clean for every practice and game. Players must wear black boots to training and games at all times. A one-week grace period, if agreed upon by the coaches, is allowed for split or unusable boots. After the grace period of 7 days, players will not be allowed to train or play games until boots are black, under any circumstances.

  • Under garments can be worn but must be plain black no logos or brand visible.

  • No alternative uniform must be ever worn to any Relentless Soccer Club practice, game or event once received.

  • Players must bring their soccer ball to every practice and game fully inflated.

  • If the uniform has been misplaced or lost, you must notify your club coach immediately and place a new order using the Relentless Soccer Club Shop Link: ultimateballers.com.

  • Inclement Weather: Every effort is made to hold practices and games as scheduled. RSC will do its best to communicate in a timely fashion once a decision has been made. RSC will provide a safe training environment based on current and/or forecasted weather conditions. The proximity of lightning will be a contributing factor to training being postponed or canceled. All players and parents must exit the fields and seek safe shelter immediately and wait for RSC notification.

Relentless Soccer Club is committed to building great soccer players for the future. A vital part of our process is families understanding the importance of developing human beings to further life skills. The expectations we set are standards families can carry through their journey in life.
Welcome to the Family.
